You can set the Maximum Print Line parameter in two ways:
1. In WSLAN's Printer Control Panel.
2. In WSCONFIG's Host Printer Session Information window.
1. To set the Maximum Print Line Parameter to 0 in the Printer Control
Panel:
A. Load WSLAN. You must also have a print session configured.
B. From the command line, press <Alt+Esc>. The Printer Control Panel
for Online Sessions appears.
C. Press <2> to set the Print Control Panel to hold print.
D. Press <d> for form feed.
E. Press <+> (plus) or <-> (minus) on the numeric keypad to change the
Selector Switches to 00.
F. Press <3> to remove "hold print".
G. To toggle to the DOS command line, press <Alt+Esc>.
When you set the Selector Switches in the Printer Control Panel, the line
count setting remains until you unload WSLAN.
For more information on redirectable printing and the Printer Control
Panel, see Chapter 5 in the 3270 Workstation for DOS User's Guide.
2. To set the Maximum Print Line Parameter in WSCONFIG:
A. Start the workstation configuration program (WSCONFIG) by entering
the following command:
WSCONFIG config_filename
config_filename is the name of the configuration file you want to
modify. The configuration file is either WSLAN.CFG or a file that
was
created previously. (You need not include the .CFG filename
extension
on the command line.)
The WSCONFIG main screen is displayed on your screen.
B. Press <Alt+S> to access the Sessions menu; then press <Return>.
The Select Session Type menu appears.
C. Move the highlight cursor to Create a Session at the Bottom of the
List... and press <Return>.
D. Place the highlight cursor on Printer... and press <Return>.
The Host Printer Session menu appears.
E. Place the highlight cursor on Basic Printer Session Information
and
press <Return>.
The Host Printer Session Information window appears.
The underline cursor is in the Number of Lines per Page field.
The default setting for the number of lines per page is 66.
F. To set the Maximum Print Line parameter to 0,
1. Press <Delete> twice to delete 66 from the field.
2. Type <0>.
G. To instruct WSCONFIG to accept the new setting, press
<Ctrl+Enter>.
You return to the Host Printer Session menu.
H. Press <F3> to save the changes and exit WSCONFIG.
When you set the lines per page in the workstation configuration program
(WSCONFIG), it becomes the default lines per page setting for your
workstation.
For more information on this portion of WSCONFIG, see pages 315 and 316 in
the 3270 LAN Workstation for DOS Configuration Guide.
